Before you transmit
Quick answers to help you earn your first pack.
You need an active amateur radio callsign, a PacketPacks account, and a way to send APRS position reports. That can be a radio, tracker, or another setup that puts a valid packet on APRS-IS.
Send an APRS position report from inside the Place radius using the primary eyeball symbol. The Place must be active, support an active card set, and be ready after its cooldown.
PacketPacks looks back over the previous seven days each time you earn. Every eligible player can earn up to 7 packs in that window. It is a rolling window, not a calendar-week reset.
Yes. You can earn packs, open them, and build your collection without entering payment information. Paid membership adds richer planning, artwork, and collection tools without changing earning eligibility.
Paid membership unlocks Places maps, full-color card artwork, set progress, rarity counts, and collection statistics. It does not change pack limits, cooldowns, eligibility, or rarity odds.
Membership is billed yearly at $29.99 and managed securely through Stripe. Use the billing portal to manage or cancel your membership.
